- A38 crash: Man ‘stood in the road’ before being hit by car towing caravan
The man who died after being hit by a vehicle towing a train has been named at an inquest. The hearing took place at Plymouth Coroner’s Court last week into the death of 54-year-old Adam Greig, who lived in the Dodbrooke area of Kingsbridge.
- The hearing, held by senior coroner Ian Arrow noted how Adam was pronounced deceased at the A38 at Buckfastleigh on October 2 at just after 1 pm. The Road was closed for several hours as police carried out an investigation. Adam was born in Plymouth, was unmarried, and worked as a recruiting officer, according to the brief inquest hearing. Multiple injuries were listed as the cause of death by the doctors.
